I've been thinking so much about my China-baby lately. I'm not sure why, but she has been on my heart more and more. Since we started on our journey to her every day closer has been two days further away. We have been waiting for a long time, but I know that she is coming in God's time and I am great with that! (For those of you who don't know, we actually asked for twins.)
I've been blogging and blogging about Lionel, the dear boy who stole my heart last Fall and who I pray we will get to bring home. I want Lionel to be our son. But I feel like I need to branch out this blog to make it more than just Lionel. . .our China clock is also counting down and I don't want to miss it because I was so focused on Rwanda!
Right now the wait is nearly 33 months (and counting). If it stays 33 months, then we should be expecting a referral in August. I'm probably the only waiting parent who is wanting it to continue slowing down because we have to have Lionel in our home for 12 months before we can get our China referral. So, Lord, please bring Lionel home soon and please slow down the referral process ever so slightly!!! (Isn't that a selfish prayer?!!?)
Anyway, Braner Party of 7 should be Braner Party of 8, but we'll keep it the same. God knows. It may be 7 with everything going on in Rwanda. I for sure don't have any idea! Oh well. . .here's to blogging about the wait from Rwanda AND from China. . .and just blogging about my family that I am so happy to have in my home right now! I can't forget about the four little (and growing) blessings that I have already been given!!!

God is good and He knows the plans He has for your family! We are praying and lifting you up - I can't wait to see what He does with your family.
I just found your blog through the adoption agency website. I was wondering if you are doing this adoption without an agency? It seems like it can be done, and you can save a lot of money by going this route.
We are just in the beginning stages of talking about adoption, and I am feeling pulled to Rwanda....
I hadn't checked on you for awhile. Good to see you're doing well. I'm anxious to see where God takes you and your family with this amazing journey. Lois McBeath
Thanks for answering my questions.
Please update your blog! =)
I wait anxiously for new posts =)
I want to know more about Rwanda, more about Rwandan orphanages & adoptions. Anything!
There just isn't much out there on the web.
Thanks!
